General
URLdn is a link management platform — branded short links, QR codes, and click analytics — with a built-in AI analyst that reads your traffic directly from the database and answers plain-language questions about it. Bitly counts clicks; URLdn explains them.
Same core idea — shorten, brand, and track links — plus an AI analyst layer that queries your live data instead of you scrolling through charts, and a self-hosted option for teams that want to run it on their own infrastructure.
Yes — import your existing links via CSV or the API. Your short codes and click history stay with the old provider, but new clicks route through URLdn going forward under your custom domain.

Billing & plans
There's no permanent free tier, but new accounts can start on a Pro trial to try the full platform, including AI questions and custom domains, before choosing a plan.
Yes, from your billing settings at any time. Upgrades apply immediately; downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
Each plan includes a monthly allowance of AI analyst questions. The counter resets every billing cycle and usage is shown live in your subscription dashboard.
Data & privacy
Click tracking on your short links doesn't set cookies or collect personal identifiers, so there's typically nothing to ask consent for on the redirect itself. Your own site's separate analytics or cookie needs aren't affected by this.
The AI analyst only reads from your own account's live data and answers strictly from what it queries — it doesn't have access to other customers' data, and it can't fabricate numbers that aren't backed by an actual query result.
Yes, from account settings — export your links and click history as CSV, or request full account deletion at any time.
Custom domains
Yes. Point a CNAME at your domain or subdomain and we handle DNS verification and TLS certificate issuance automatically — no manual renewals.
Limits scale with your plan, from a single domain on entry-level plans up to unlimited domains on Business and Enterprise.
API & integrations
Yes — the same API that powers the dashboard is available with an API key, with documented rate limits per plan. A Node.js SDK is available, with more languages planned.
Yes, native integrations are available so you can trigger link creation from your existing automations without touching the API directly.
Yes — the URLdn add-on for Sheets and Docs lets you shorten selected cells or every link in a document in one click, using your API key.
